How we work

Listen

We start with a proper conversation -- not a generic discovery questionnaire. We want to understand your business, your audience, what has worked, and what frustrates you about how you currently show up.

Direction

Before designing anything, we define a creative direction. Moodboards, reference points, a written brief that we both agree on. This prevents the most common design mistake: starting before there is alignment.

Design

Actual design work. High-fidelity in Figma, shared as interactive previews. We design desktop and mobile in the same pass. Revisions happen in structured rounds.

Build

Development in your chosen platform. We build for performance and editability -- your site should not require us for routine content updates. CMS setup and training are included in every project.

Grow

After launch, we stay in touch. Post-launch support is included. If your brand grows, we grow with it. Ongoing design partnerships are available for clients who want a long-term creative relationship.

Things people ask before getting started

Honestly, we are smaller and more selective about the projects we take on. When you hire us, you work with the people who actually design your site, not a project manager who relays information to a junior team. That said, what really separates good work from average work is time spent understanding the brief. We do not skip that part.
Yes. Most of our clients are not in Columbus. We work entirely digitally and do not require in-person meetings. Video calls, collaborative Figma links, and shared Notion documents cover everything we need.
Webflow, Shopify, and WordPress. We recommend the platform that fits your project and your team's ability to manage the site after launch. For editorial brands and portfolio sites, Webflow is usually the best fit. For stores, Shopify. For complex content structures, WordPress.
Seed package: 10 business days. Cultivate: 20 business days. Grove: 28 business days. All timelines run from the completion of the project brief and kickoff call, not from payment date. Client delays in providing content or feedback extend the timeline proportionally.
You provide the foundational content about your business, your story, and your services. We can write website copy for you as an add-on. Photography should come from you, a photographer you hire, or a curated stock library we help you select from. We always provide a content requirements list at kickoff.
